Printing Quality & Paper

Disney's Standard PhotoCards

Disney's PhotoPass service delivers high-quality photographic Kodak prints. The resolution on any prints you order will be of the highest quality.

Note: The images you see online may vary in resolution and brightness due to variations in computer monitors and settings on your computer.

We use state of the art Laser mini lab printers and print your photos at a resolution of 300PDI. We use high-quality Kodak paper, a resin-coated, silver-halide color paper optimized for digital laser printers. A light source in the form of a laser inside our digital printers exposes the photographic paper pixel by pixel. This process mimics traditional photography where light from the subject exposes photographic film inside of a camera. Our prints are designed to resist fading for up to 200 years in a Photo album or 100 years in a frame that is not in direct sunlight.

Disney's Folded PhotoCards

Disney's Folded PhotoCards are printed using modern, digital, printing presses. The cards are printed on high-quality, heavy-weight, paper. The finished, folded dimensions of the card are 5" x 7". The front panel features your photo and will be printed at 300 dpi. The front and back panels are coated to provide a glossy finish. Inside panels are also printed in color at 300 dpi and feature two separate text areas for your holiday message -- one for your main message and one for your closing signature. You can also leave the text boxes blank and add your own handwritten message. The inner panels of the cards are not coated, allowing you to write your own greetings using any ballpoint pen.
