Configuring Internet Security Applications

You may encounter difficulty using our website if you have Ad Blocking capabilities enabled with an older Internet security application. If so, we strongly recommend that you either update your Internet security application or configure Ad Blocking for DisneyPhotoPass.com.

In order to use DisneyPhotoPass.com with Internet security applications such as Norton Internet Security, you can create a specific rule allowing pop-ups on the Disney's PhotoPass website.

Guests Using 2003 Norton Products

To create a rule using 2003 Norton products which will allow you to access DisneyPhotoPass.com, please follow these instructions:

  1. Launch your Norton 2003 application.
  2. Go to "Options." and choose "Web Content."
  3. Click "Add Site," and enter "disneyphotopass.com."
  4. Go to the "User Settings" tab, and deselect the “Use Ad Blocking settings" box.
  5. Select "Permit."

Guests Using 2004 Norton Products

To create a rule using 2004 Norton products which will allow you to access DisneyPhotoPass.com, please follow these instructions:

  1. Launch your Norton 2004 application.
  2. Choose "Ad Blocking," and select "Configure."
  3. Select "Advanced."
  4. Go to "Web Contents," and select "Add Site."
  5. Enter "disneyphotopass.com."
  6. Click the "User Settings" tab, and deselect the "Use Ad Blocking settings" box.
  7. Select "Permit."

Guests Using 2005 or 2006 Norton Products

To create a rule using 2005 or 2006 Norton products which will allow you to access DisneyPhotoPass.com, please follow these instructions:

  1. Launch Internet Explorer.
  2. Go to DisneyPhotoPass.com and sign into your Disney's PhotoPass account.
  3. Select "Add Site," and enter "disneyphotopass.com."
  4. For 2005 Norton products, click the "NIS" icon on your browser's toolbar. For 2006 products, select the "Norton Internet Security" icon.
  5. Deselect the box next to "Block pop-ups from this website."
  6. Restart Internet Explorer.

If you wish to disable the Norton 2006 pop-up blocker, please follow these steps:

  1. Launch your Norton 2006 application.
  2. Go to the "Options" menu, and select "Norton Antispam."
  3. Select "General" which is listed under "Ad Blocking."
  4. Deselect the check box next to "Turn on Pop-up Window Blocking."
  5. Click "OK."
